York Frerks is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Chinese Studies at University of Würzburg with a focus on contemporary Chinese society and politics.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies with focus on China from Heidelberg University.
With experience in translation, writing, and editing, York has collected work experience at a law firm and a think tank.
In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano and church organ.
